Step 1 of 3 · Your business
The process
Three stages, run live against the engines your buyers actually ask, finishing with a roadmap you can hand to whoever writes your content.
Your company, domain, market and service list become real prompts, run live against Perplexity, ChatGPT and Gemini. No cached sample, no stand-in data.
Each engine returns a scored read across five dimensions, plus the sources its own search surfaced. Where an engine found nothing, that is recorded as nothing, not rounded up.
The gaps become concrete next steps: which engines to target first, which competitors hold the share of voice you want, and what to publish to take it.

Compare, why we win
The alternatives are global SaaS tools billing in dollars, or a traditional agency retainer priced without engine-specific reporting. Here is the same comparison laid out plainly, using each vendor’s own published plan or, where noted, the general market range.

AEO, GEO and AIO
Written to be quoted. Each answer stands on its own, so an engine can lift it directly.
Answer Engine Optimization is the practice of getting a brand named and cited inside AI generated answers, on engines like Perplexity, ChatGPT and Gemini. Traditional SEO competes for a ranked position on a results page a person then clicks. AEO competes to be the source an engine quotes when it answers instead of listing. The work overlaps (crawlability, structured data, credible third party coverage) but the target is different: SEO wants the click, AEO wants the citation.
Generative Engine Optimization and AI Optimization are near synonyms for Answer Engine Optimization, used by different vendors. GEO usually emphasises shaping how generative models summarise a brand. AIO is used more broadly, sometimes covering internal AI tooling as well as external visibility. In practice all three describe the same goal: being present, accurately described and cited when an AI system answers a question in your category.
Because they are not looking at the same thing. Perplexity is always web grounded, so it reflects what is indexed and reachable right now. ChatGPT scores largely from what its training data already contains about you, which lags recent coverage. Gemini blends its own knowledge with Google Search grounding. A brand with a new site and little third party coverage typically scores highest on the web grounded engines and near zero on the training data ones, and that gap is itself the finding.
They favour businesses they can verify. In practice that means consistent name, address and service details across the sites they crawl, third party mentions they consider credible (directories, press, client case studies, review platforms), clear structured data, and content that answers the specific question being asked rather than describing the company in general. Local signals matter: an engine asked for an agency in Johannesburg leans on sources that tie the business to that market explicitly.
Monthly is enough for most businesses, because the inputs move slowly. Move to weekly when something is actively changing: a site migration, a new service line, a publishing push, or a competitor visibly taking share of voice. Re run immediately after any major content or technical change, since that is when a score shift is actually attributable to something you did.
